Follow Friday & Book Blogger Hop (6)

This week's question:
What book(s) have you discovered lately from someone's book blog?

I've learned about several books lately by looking over the 2011 Debut Author Challenge titles and Kristi's Books to Pine for feature over at The Story Siren.
Here are some of them that I might not have noticed (at least not for a while) otherwise, with Goodreads links:

Wildefire by Karsten Knight
Luminous by Dawn Metcalf
Siren's Storm by Lisa Papademetriou
Dark Mirror by M.J. Putney

This week's question:
What book influenced/changed your life?  How did it influence/change you?

I don't know if I can think of a book that did not change my life or influence me in some way!

Welcome to all of the new faces, and welcome back to the old ones!
Here is what has been happening on my blog this week:

  12. Luminous cover looks so amazing. I have a hard time picking high-fantasy so I get a lot of ideas from other bloggers. Good answer!

  16. It was a Hop this week! I ended up choosing Twilight because it was one of the first books that I interacted with strangers about. (More on my blog!)
